The task of 'empowering the differently abled' is huge and I think Sarthak is on the right track. I wish them yet greater success in their mission. I pray for long life and good health to the indefatigable Dr Aggarwal, his devoted and equally committed wife Dr Suman and the countrywide team they have built.
Can there be greater service to the society than this? We need to celebrate your achievement!! Yes, I recognize that there are a million more and some day we will get to them, but life is always one step at a time and you seem to have mastered it. Wishing the team an amazing next decade to follow!
The Sarthak team is doing commendable work towards mainstreaming persons with disability. We support Sarthak’s Early Intervention Center at Sahibabad which provides therapeutic aid and special education to children facing development delays. Their dedication towards the cause ensured that parents also stepped up in role as trainers for their children.
Skilling Persons with Disabilities as one of its flagship programmes under Livelihood sector. Cognizant Foundation is glad to have partnered with Sarthak Educational Trust. Sarthak has been able to leverage digital tools to move from classroom training to digital lessons. We are happy to note that while the lockdown changed the dynamics of work.
I have been watching with appreciation the tremendous work that Sarthak, under the able stewardship of Dr. Jitender Aggarwal, I am deeply appreciative of the relentless efforts and laser-sharp focus by Sarthak. It's a noble endeavour and Sarthak's impact over the last decade has been fantastic!
Over the last two years, our support to Sarthak has focussed on enabling livelihoods for such people through a newly set up skilling centre in Chennai This center has focused on providing youth with disabilities the relevant skill training and job placements to ensure dignity and financial independence. We hope the centre grow and thrives in the future, with this noble mission in mind.
